My Background
my years as a research engineer, commercial and industrial designer, and prototype fabricator have prepared me to explore my love of the visual arts. i started painting in 2004 and started doing metal artwork in 2009.
My Medium
my original contemporary art and sculptures are crafted from reclaimed metal that have an infinite variety of natural patinas. many of these patinas are created through a combination of natural earth processes of heat, water, wind, chemical reactions and corrosion that take years to manifest and cant be duplicated in any other way. it is a journey to find and collect these materials which i then carefully select, cut and combine these pieces to achieve the unique effects.
